Keno is a casino game of chance with a rich and acclaimed background. The game that we are currently familiar with has experienced incredible changes since its earliest creation. Gaming chroniclers have followed its roots as far back as 200 B.C. to a Chinese type of diversion referred to as ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It’s a well-recorded fact that a form of keno was played in a bingo-like arrangement on the eastern seaboard just about the time of the humongous Chinese immigration at the time of the gold rush.
In its current style, keno is a bit like bingo in that both games are based upon numbers. An individual keno card comes with 80 numbers and the player will choose as many as she wants. This is done by circling or otherwise marking the numbers using a pencil. After the player has checked off the numbers, she has to bring the card back to the nice person at the keno booth. The cashier will then provide a slip after recording the player’s numbers. It is the responsibility of the player to redeem any winning ticket before the next round begins, so stragglers must stay alert.
Now that we’ve covered some of of keno’s compelling history and basic facts of game play, you are most likely chomping at the bit to discover where you can play keno on the web. And that is only a reasonable thing for an avid keno gambler. Rest assured you have a great many choices to choose from when it is time for some big-time internet keno fun with all the fervor you aspire to.
