Keno Strategies That Will Help You Win

[ English ]

It won’t usually be seen as the sexiest game in the arena of gaming, but keno has tons of passionate players. As well it should! It’s a consistently exciting lotto-type game that’s simple to pickup, abundantly available in tons of alternate styles, and one that might return mega-dollars for those who master its countless subtle rules. But let’s start with the basics for now.

When describing keno to novices, some betting experts compare it to bingo. This is at least in some measure apt, in that each game is basically numerical. Yet to carry that comparison too far would be to downplay the good many unique aspect that make keno so exciting. Unlike bingo, keno gamblers have the ability to choose the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the gambler is furnished with an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to select as numerous (or as few) numbers as he desires. And it doesn’t take a nuclear physicist to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your picked numbers with a normalball point pen like you used when you were in grade 3.

Once you’ve marked your numbers, carry the game card back to the person at the keno stand. The clerk will record your numbers and then give you a receipt. Don’t drop this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your loud shirt and would like to help out, without a winning ticket with you, you will be given exactly $.00 for your time spent.

OK, so there you have strategy numero uno: always be sure to keep your keno receipt. Let us get on to something a bit more useful, ok?

Once you’ve checked off your numbers, get into a nice keno booth and observe the action unfold on a video monitor. That’s where the winning numbers show up in lights. If you selected winners, mark your card appropriately. Sake care not to take your time, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You need to get back to the keno booth to redeem your winnings, since a new keno game will certainly start up within five minutes.

Strategy number 2: always get back to the keno booth on time!

Assuming you don’t trust yourself to beat that five-minute deadline each and every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from two to twenty slips. When the max amount of keno games (fitting the amount of tickets) is finished, you will then be able to get off your lazy bum and go get your winnings.

Still another alternative is known as a "stray and play" keno slip, which normally lets you make number choices for thirty games or more. Gosh, you can take all the time in the world and not have to fret about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!

And now you are aware of a number of necessary schemes for winning keno. If you are an adept user, they might appear to be very obvious. But it won’t hurt to study up on the basic strategies, and if you are a beginner gambler, every little bit of information will help make your keno experience more captivating.
