Keno is one of those games you either know about or you do not. It is basically seen as a lotto in the casino. Like the lotto, the game consists of numbered balls being drawn. The object is to select the numbers that come up. The game of Keno can either be quick or slow based on the casino. By betting on Keno on the internet you can control the pace of the game. Personally, I prefer real life keno. You hang out in a lounge, if you wish, and enjoy. Keno is a game that you don’t have to be present to play and be a winner. For instance, you can put in a ticket for 20 games and then head off to compete in something else in the casino or even your hotel room if you are staying at the casino.
Keno Game Board
The game is played on a board. The Keno board consists of 80 total numbers – number 1 though 80. The top 40 are referred to as the top half and the second forty are referred to as the bottom portion.
Playing Keno
Each round of Keno goes in the same manner. The round commences, and twenty numbers are picked. The casino may be utilizing the ball system. Ping pong like balls are sucked up and chosen, just like the lottery on television. Other casinos use computers. If a number you checked is chosen, that is known as a "hit." When all twenty numbers have been picked, the round finishes and winning tickets are cashed-in.
There is a fair amount of options in the game of Keno. For instance, you could select just one number, 2 numbers and so on up to 20 numbers. Typically, you need to get a majority of your numbers to win anything. For instance, if you choose six numbers, you will normally need to get 3 to earn your money back.
Keno Payouts
The payouts in Keno are pretty big. The odds of winning is based on the total numbers selected. For instance, if you select two numbers, you have a 6% chance of hitting your ticket. Each casino has their own payouts. If you are going to play on the web, make sure you look everywhere for the biggest payouts first.
