Keno Tactics That Win

[ English ]

It might not ordinarily be thought of as the most lucrative game in the realm of betting, but keno has millions and millions of fanatical fans. And so it should! It’s a consistently exciting lottery-esque game that’s a snap to play, readily available in several different formats, and one that may return millions for players who master its heaps of subtle nuances. But let’s deal with the basic rules here.

When describing keno to novices, some wagering connoisseurs compare it to bingo. This is at least to a certain extent apt, in that each game is fundamentally numerical. But to carry that comparison too far will be to undervalue the endless unique aspect that make keno so compelling. Not like bingo, keno enthusiasts have the power to select the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a grand total of 80 numbers, but the player is accord an additional level of personal responsibility by being able to select as many (or as few) numbers as he or she feels they need. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your picked numbers with a normal#2 pencil like you had back in the day.

After you’ve selected your numbers, take your card back to the girl at the keno booth. The girl will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t drop this (potentially) valuable piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers you and wants help out, without a winning ticket in hand, you will get exactly $.00 for your actions.

So, there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno slip. Let us move to something a tiny bit more advanced, shall we?

Now that you’ve selected your numbers, get into a comfortable keno booth and see the action unfold on the video monitor. That is where the winning numbers are shown for all to see. If you checked winners, mark your card aptly. Make sure not to dally, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You want to get back to the keno booth to get your winnings, as a new keno game will probably start within not too many minutes.

Strategy number two: always go back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you can not trust yourself to meet that five-minute margin each and every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the maximum number of keno games (matching the amount of tickets) is played, you can then get off your numb bum and go redeem your winnings.

Still another option is recognized as a "stray and play" keno slip, which normally lets you make number choices for thirty keno games or more. Heck, you can take vacation to France and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to collect your winnings. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after purchase!

So now you are aware of several needed schemes for winning keno. If you are an advanced user, they may appear to be very obvious. Still, it won’t hurt to bone up on the basic techniques, and if you are a new keno player, every bit of advice will help make your keno playing time more exciting.
