Keno Methods That Will Make You Rich

It will not usually be thought of as the most lucrative game in the realm of betting, but keno has millions of fanatical players. And it should! It’s a regularly thrilling lotto-esque game that’s easy to pickup, readily available in several different formats, and one that will pay out millions of dollars for players who master its endless subtle nuances. But let’s start with the basic facts here.

When defining keno to beginners, some betting connoisseurs compare it to bingo. This is at least to a certain extent correct, in that each game is generally numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far can be to downplay the many unique traits that make keno so compelling. Not like bingo, keno users have the freedom to select the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the user is given an additional level of personal responsibility by being able to decide on as numerous (or as few) numbers as he needs. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your chosen numbers with a every day oldball point pen like you used when you were a kid.

Now that you have marked your numbers, carry the keno card back to the girl at the keno stand. The nice person will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Don’t drop this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your mug and would like to help out, without a winning slip on you, you will be given exactly $.00 for your time spent.

Now there you have strategy #1: always make sure to keep your keno receipt. Let’s move on to something a little more complicated, yes?

After you’ve marked your numbers, get into a comfortable keno booth and see the action unfold on the video monitor. That’s where the winning numbers are shown for all to see. If you have winning numbers, mark your card appropriately. Make sure not to move to slowly, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You need to get back to the keno booth to get your winnings, and a new keno game will likely start up within five minutes.

Strategy number 2: always get back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you can’t trust yourself to make that five-minute deadline each and every time, you always have the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your selected numbers on anywhere from two to twenty slips. When the max amount of keno games (fitting the amount of tickets) is finished, you should then get off your numb butt and go get your winnings.

Another option is referred to as a "stray and play" keno card, which generally lets you make number choices for 30 keno games or more. Hell, you can take an ocean cruise and not have to fret about getting back in time to retrieve your winnings. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after it’s bought!

So now you have learned a few required techniques for winning keno. If you are a skillful user, they may appear to be stupidly obvious. Still, it doesn’t hurt to study up on the basics, and if you are a newbie user, every little bit of advice will help make your keno games more fun.
