The background of Keno

Keno was introduced in 200 before Christ by the Chinese army commander, Cheung Leung who utilized this game as a way to finance his declining forces. The city of Cheung was waging a war, and after a bit of war time seemed to be facing country wide shortage of food with the dramatic decrease in supplies. Cheung Leung had to come up with a rapid fix for the economic disaster and to produce money for his army. He, as it follows invented the game we now know as keno and it was a wonderful success.
