Introducing Keno

[ English ]

Keno is one of those games you either know about or you don’t. It’s basically seen as a lotto in the casino. Similar to the lottery, the game is made up of numbers being drawn. The goal is to select the numbers that come up. The game of Keno can either be swift or leisurely depending on the casino. By playing Keno on the net you can control the pace of the game. Personally, I prefer real life keno. You sit in a lounge, if you like, and enjoy. Keno is a game that you do not need to be in the lounge to participate and be a winner. For example, you could put in a ticket for twenty games and then head off to play something else in the casino or even your hotel room if you are staying in the casino.

Keno Board

The game is bet on on a game board. The Keno board consists of 80 numbers total – number 1 to eighty. The top forty are referred to as the top portion and the second forty are called the bottom half.

Playing Keno

Each round of Keno goes in the same manner. The round commences, and twenty numbers are drawn. The casino may be using the ball system. Ping pong style balls are blown up and chosen, exactly like the lottery on television. Other casinos utilize computers. If a number you checked is selected, that’s referred to as a "hit." When all twenty numbers are selected, the round finishes and winning tickets are paid-out.

There is an abundance of options in the game of Keno. For instance, you might choose 1 number, two numbers and so on up to 20 numbers. Normally, you have to get most of your numbers to come away with something. For example, if you pick 6 numbers, you will usually need to hit 3 to win your money back.

Keno Payouts

The pay outs in Keno are pretty good. The probability of winning will be dependent on the total numbers selected. For instance, if you pick 2 numbers, you have a six percent probability of hitting your ticket. Each casino has their very own pay outs. If you are playing on the net, make sure you look around for the best payouts first.
