It won’t usually be looked at as the funnest game in the field of betting, but keno has massive amounts of passionate enthusiasts. And why not? It’s a always entertaining lottery-type game that’s easy to master, abundantly available in loads of different styles, and one that might return millions of dollars for gamblers who learn its countless subtle rules. But let’s start with the basics here.
When describing keno to amateurs, some gaming experts compare it to bingo. This is at least in some ways apt, in that both games are basically numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far would be to underrate the many unique characteristics that make keno so entertaining. Unlike bingo, keno enthusiasts have the power to select the numbers for each card.
Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the user is accord an extra level of personal responsibility by being able to determine as numerous (or as few) numbers as he needs. And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your picked numbers with a standardmarker like you had when you were in third grade.
After you have picked your numbers, take the keno card back to the nice person at the keno stand. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t lose this (potentially) expensive piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your loud shirt and wants help out, without a winning slip on you, you will get exactly $.00 for your winning card.
And there you have strategy #1: always be sure to keep your keno receipt. Let’s move to something a tiny bit more complicated, what do you think?
Now that you’ve picked your numbers, settle into a comfortable keno booth and see the action take place on the screen. That is where the winning numbers are displayed for us. If you checked winning numbers, mark your card aptly. Be sure not to move to slowly, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You are required to get back to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, and a new round of keno will surely get going within not too many minutes.
Strategy number 2: always make it back to the keno booth on time!
Assuming you can’t trust yourself to make that five-minute margin each and every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the self same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from two to twenty tickets. When the maximum number of keno games (matching the amount of tickets) is completed, you can then get off your lazy back side and go redeem your winnings.
Another opportunity is referred to as a "stray and play" keno card, which normally lets you make number selection for thirty keno games or more. Golly, you can take vacation to Italy and not have to worry about getting back in time to retrieve your winnings. Most "stray and play" cards are good for up to a whole year after it’s purchased!
So now you know a couple required schemes for winning keno. If you are an advanced user, they may seem quite obvious. But it doesn’t hurt to bone up on the basic strategies, and if you are a novice player, every little bit of information will help make your keno betting more entertaining.
