Keno Methods That Work

[ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

It will not commonly be deemed the best game in the arena of gaming, but keno has massive amounts of fanatical supporters. And why not? It’s a always entertaining lotto-style game that’s uncomplicated to pickup, abundantly available in lots of different formats, and one that might pay out millions for those who master its numerous subtle rules. But let’s begin with the beginner’s rules here.

When describing keno to beginners, some gaming masters compare it to bingo. This is at least in part apt, in that each game is basically numerical. But to take that comparison too far is likely to be to downplay the good many unique aspect that make keno so compelling. Unlike bingo, keno enthusiasts have the freedom to pick the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a grand total of eighty numbers, but the player is given an additional degree of personal responsibility by being able to choose as many (or as few) numbers as he or she thinks is appropriate. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your selected numbers with a ordinaryball point pen like you had back in school.

Now that you’ve selected your numbers, carry your game card back to the girl at the keno booth. The girl will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Make sure no to lose this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your pretty face and wants help out, without a winning slip in hand, you will get exactly $.00 for your efforts.

OK, so there you have strategy #1: always take care to keep your keno receipt. Let’s advance to something a little more complicated, shall we?

Once you’ve picked your numbers, get yourself into a comfortable keno booth and watch the action take place on the screen. This is where the winning numbers are displayed in lights. If you selected winners, mark your card appropriately. Make sure not to dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You want to get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, and a new drawing will probably get going within not too many minutes.

Strategy #2: always make it back to the keno booth on time!

Assuming you can’t trust yourself to make that 5 minute deadline each time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the very same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty tickets. When the max amount of games (matching the number of tickets) is completed, you will then be able to get off your numb back side and go get your winnings.

Yet another option is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which commonly lets you make number selection for 30 games or more. Gosh, you can take vacation to Italy and not have to fret about getting back in time to redeem your winnings. Most "stray and play" game tickets are good for up to a whole year after it’s bought!

And now you are aware of a number of essential techniques for winning keno. If you are a discerning keno player, they might seem quite obvious. Still, it does not hurt to brush up on the fundamentals, and if you are a novice user, every tiny bit of advice will help make your keno gambling more exciting.
